I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
